Darkest Thoughts started almost by accident. It all began as a joke while I was singing karaoke in the car and sending short videos to my friend, Raul. At one point, I casually told him that I wanted to try for the Eurovision Song Contest. Unlike me, he took the idea seriously.
Together, we shaped a song that reflected exactly who I was at that moment in my life. It came from a place of emotional weight, pressure, and thoughts that had been building up inside me for a long time. Writing this song became a way to let those emotions out before they could turn into something more destructive.
The song was written over the course of two weeks, recorded shortly after, and submitted to Romania's National Selection 2026 with the hope of representing the country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026. Although it received an incredible amount of support from listeners, it was not selected to advance to the live audition stage.
Even so, Darkest Thoughts will always hold a special place in my journey. It is the first brick that laid the foundation of my career as an artist—the moment an idea became a song, and a dream became something real.
